Aubrey "Frankie" Chandika Mongal Sr., 63, Pomona Park, entered the sunset of life Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009, at Putnam Community Medical Center.Aubrey was born on Monday, May 6, 1946 to Prince K. Mongal and Iris Rena Mongal in Guyana, South America. He was educated in the St. Aloysius Boys School and the Bohemia School. Aubrey worked very hard in his fathers business operating a General Community Store. When he relocated to Queens, NY he was employed as a building maintenance man for an apartment complex. In later years, he lived in Pomona Park, FL. Aubrey will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
His beloved mother and brother, Hector preceded Aubrey in eternal rest.
Aubrey entered the sunset of life on Sunday, August 23, 2009 at Putnam Community Medical Center, Palatka, Florida.
To cherish his memories: wife, Antoinette Toni Mongal; son, Aubrey (wife Ty) Mongal, all of Brandywine, MD; father, Prince Mongal, Guyana, South America; brothers; Edgar (Lisa) Mongal, Jersey City, NJ; Clyde (Jane) Mongal, Guyana, South America; sisters, Shurkalene Dixie Mongal of Copenhagen; Joan Patsy (David) Elias, Gloria Gem Singh, & Viola Mongal, all of Canada; Pamela (Jan) Ros, Holland; grandchildren, Aubrey, Tiara and Grace all of Brandywine; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Asbury, Brandywine, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.
A private family memorial service was held Tuesday September 8 at the "Chapel of Serenity", Rev. Karl N. Flagg was the officiant.
