Obituary

Arthur Jay Coyer, 57, of Interlachen, entered the sunset of life on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at his residence. The son of Henry Joseph and Andrea Lee (Flanders) Coyer, Jr., he was a native of West Stewartstown, New Hampshire, born on Wednesday, October 17, 1962. The family relocated to Vermont and Arthur grew up in Barre and was educated in the Washington County School District. He was a 1980 graduate of Spaulding High School, and subsequently relocated to Interlachen. He enlisted in the U. S. Navy, attaining E-5 status while serving our great nation as a Machinist Repairman for four years before earning an honorable discharge. Following his military service, he became a machinist at the University of Florida, Agriculture Department in Gainesville and was later employed as a welder with Citra Manufacturing. Arthur's favorite scripture was "To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord forever." (2 Corinthians 5:8)

Those who cherish Arthur's memories: son, Jeremie Jay (Brandi) Coyer, Interlachen; daughter; mother, Andrea Lee Coyer, Jacksonville; father, Henry Joseph (Nancy) Coyer, Hiawassee, GA; sister, Jodi Lyn (Brian) Freeman, Jacksonville; three grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and other relatives.

A memorial visitation will be from 5-6 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2020 at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity."
