Obituary

Antonio Lemond Tony Williams, 37, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Sunday, February 1, 2009, due to injuries sustained in a SUV accident on SR 100 in Flagler County. He was a native of Palatka, the son of Jacquelyn Diana Mabry and Harold Davis, Sr., born December 13, 1971. Tony was a 1989 graduate of Palatka High School. He accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and attended Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, Palatka. Tonys first job was at Mister Donut (now Dunkin Donuts) during his high school years. He spent most of his life in Palatka, but resided in Gainesville for several years where he was formerly employed at Civitan Regional Blood Bank and Publix Supermarket. He was presently employed as a dryer person at the Georgia Pacific Plywood Plant in Hawthorne. Tony was a passionate Florida State Seminoles fan. Antonio is preceded in eternal rest by his mother, Jacquelyn Mabry; grandparents, Maude Mabry, Andrew Mabry, Hattie Davis, and Clarence Bailey; great-grandmother, Ruth Walker-Baker. Those who loved him most and cherish the precious memories: children: Antonio Williams, Jr., Philadelphia, PA; Antoria Williams and Anthony Williams, both of Gainesville, Aiden Williams, Palm Coast; father, Harold (Elizabeth) Davis, Sr., Palatka; sisters, Belinda (Russell) Williams, Orlando; Katrina (Michael) Peoples, Palatka; Harriett Davis, Duluth, GA; brothers, Harold Davis, Jr., Palatka, Justin Davis, Gainesville; step-sisters, Elizabeth, Justina, and Vanessa Mack, all of Duluth; step-brother, Barry F. Mack, Orlando; Auntie-mother, Veronica Albright, Gainesville; Auntie-sisters, Sandra (Alfred) Brinkley, Katrina (Terence) Williams; Uncle-brothers, Donald (Bobbie) Baker, Ronald (Deloris) Mabry all of Palatka; uncle, James Albright, Jr., Gainesville; godmother, Lucy Hutcherson, Atlanta, GA; special friend, Tamara Mitchell, Palm Coast and a host of other relatives, co-workers, classmates, and friends. Visitation of friends and family will be Friday, 5-8 p.m. at The Chapel of Serenity. Homegoing Celebration will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 7th, at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 800 Madison St., Palatka. Rev. Clarence Mallory, Jr., Pastor is the eulogist. Interment will be at Oak Hill East Cemetery. The cortege will assemble at the Katrina (Terence) Williams residence (219 Holly Lane) at 1:20 p.m.
