Anthony James "Chubby" Robinson, Sr., 55, native of Palatka and ten-year resident of Pittsfield, MA., entered the sunset of life on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Berkshire Medical Center of Pittsfield following an extended illness. He was the son of Nathaniel Robinson, Sr. & Gladys Sanders Robinson, born on Saturday, August 1, 1959. He was educated in the Putnam County School District at Palatka Central High. During his early years he attended Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church and (Lily of the Valley) Refuge Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith. He was employed with Cremer Wood Inc. for nearly 20 years as a cutter and loader. He recently came home for two weeks to spend time with family and to enjoy his favorite pastime, fishing. In addition to his parents, Anthony was preceded in eternal rest by his grandson, Devan Williams. Answering God's call, he leaves to cherish his memories: sons and daughters, Anthony Robinson, Jr., Kevon Robinson, Patrick Robinson, Jenai (Clarence) Williams, Kayla Robinson, all of Palatka; LaTima Fells, Tampa; devoted sister, Audrey (Clayton) Robinson Williams, Palatka; brother, Nathaniel Robinson, Jr., Fitzgerald, GA; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Robinson, Palatka; nieces, Monica Robinson, Schlondra Johns, Tamika Johns, Palatka; mother of his children, Cathy Williams Lee, Palatka; special, devoted friend, Anna Williams, Pittsfield, MA; 23 grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Visitation of family and friends will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, September 26th (today) and the Homegoing Celebration will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 27th at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity" 2400 Madison Street, Palatka, Reverend Karl N. Flagg, is the Eulogist.
