Anthony Lamar Mank McCaskill, III , 20, of Palatka entered the sunset of life on Friday, April 18, 2008 along with his first-cousin, Devry McGyver Coring as a result of an automobile accident. He was born on Sunday, April 17, 1988, to Mr. & Mrs. Anthony & Loquita (Mitchell) McCaskill, Sr. in Gainesville, Florida and was a lifelong resident of Palatka. Anthony was educated in the Putnam County School District and was a football player while attending Palatka High School. Since the age of 12, after school Anthony worked for his family-owned firm, Anthony McCaskill Incorporated. He was a laborer, later a concrete finisher, job foreman, and was soon to become a co-owner of the firm. His hobbies were fishing, football, and riding motorcycles. In his early childhood years, he attended Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church. He was united in holy matrimony to Jacqueline Myles on September 30th 2006 at To God Be the Glory Holiness Church. His maternal grandfather, Deacon James Mitchell, Sr., preceded him in eternal rest on April 1st, 2008; His paternal grandfather, E. T. Garrett also preceded him. To cherish his memories: his wife, Jacqueline Jackie McCaskill, Palatka; daughter; Rihanna McCaskill, Palatka, parents; Anthony L. and Loquita (Mitchell) McCaskill, Sr., Palatka; sisters; Jamelia Flowers, Lavonda McCaskill, Kishonda McCaskill, Quanteria McCaskill, Alexcia Roberts all of Palatka, brother; Anthony McCaskill, Jr., Palatka, paternal grand mother, Mattie Bell Battles, maternal grandmother, Martha Mitchell, father in law & mother in law, Albert (Mary) Myles, Sr., East Palatka, a host of aunts, uncles, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation of family & friends will be 5-8 pm on Friday, April 25th at the Chapel of Serenity. Homegoing Services will be 11 am Saturday, April 26th at Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church, 4909 St. Johns Ave., Palatka. Dr. Cora B. Fells, Pastor of Grace & Truth Deliverance Ministries, is the eulogist. Interment will be in Pattersonville Memorial Cemetery, East Palatka
