Anna Marie "Doris" Levine Mosley, entered this world on May 19, 1935.  She was born in Jersey City, NJ, to Anna and William Levine.  Anna transitioned on Saturday, March 4, 2023. At the time of her death, Palm Coast, FL was her place of residence.

Family and long time friends called her "Doris".  She answered to the name Doris faster than she responded to her given name Anna.  Doris was known to be stern but caring; she said what she meant and meant what she said.

She attended the Jersey City School System and completed a certificate program at Drakes Business School. Anna retired from the Jersey City Public Library system after working at various branches throughout the city. Prior to entering the library system, Anna worked many jobs including construction.

Her Christian journey began at Ocean Avenue Baptist Church at the tender age of 9 years old.  Later, she became a member of Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church and served as an usher well into her 70's.  Her love for her church family never stopped.

Family members preceding her in death included: parents, Anna and William Levine; son,  Morris Mosley; sisters,  Alethia, Catherine, Geraldine and Laverne; brothers, Morris and William.  Many memories of Anna are cherished by her son, Eugene (Valarie), West Orange NJ; daughter, Annette (Gordon) Palm Coast, FL; daughter-in-law,  Beverly, North Carolina; daughter-in-love, Susan, New Jersey; sister, Helen (Walter) Georgia and brother, James (Elaine); five grandchildren, Givon (Selena), Jonique, Rashad (Teresa), Davin (Tiffany), and Monique;  fourteen great-grand children and one great-great grandchild, Prince-Syeed who was born on March 6, 2023; nieces, nephews, cousins and many cherished friends.
