Obituary

Ann (Willie) Love Gillespie was born September 11, 1938 in Aberdeen, MS, the second of nine children born to the late Hyson Love and Hazel (Gathing) Love.

Mother Gillespie accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at New Hebron Missionary Baptist Church in Aberdeen, MS. She was educated in Monroe County Public Schools.

After marrying Hosea Gillespie on April 15, 1956, they relocated to Crescent City, FL and from that union eight children were born.

Mother Gillespie was a Mother of the Victory Outreach Worship Center of PFGC. Mother Gillespie was a devoted and faithful servant who dedicated her life to Christ. She was passionate about her commitment to God and his work through her. If you encountered her in passing, you only had to spend just a moment listening to her words of wisdom, guidance, encouragement and comfort. She had motherly love for all people. She will be truly missed and the life she led speaks for her. Mother Gillespie is now gone on to Glory to be with King Jesus! Mother Gillespie is preceded in death by her father, Hyson Love, Sr.; her beloved husband, Hosea Gillespie, Sr.; her beloved son, Wallace Gillespie; her brothers: Hyson Love, Jr., Amos Love, and Eugene Love; her sister Emma Love Brownlee A Homegoing celebration for Ann Gillespie,68, will be held at 10am, 1022 Hutington Rd. Crescent City, FL. Visitation will be 5-8pm, Friday March 07, at "The Chapel of Serenity". Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Crescent City, FL.
