Angela "Ann" Hill Williams, 60, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Monday, August 12, 2024 at UF Health Shands Hospital, Gainesville. The daughter of Willie Mae Roberts and Randolph Hill, she was born on Thursday, May 14, 1964 in Palatka. She was educated in the Putnam County School District and was a 1982 graduate of Palatka High School. Ann was a lifelong member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, Palatka. She served in the following ministries: Deaconess (co-chair), Culinary Committee, Youth Department, Hospitality, Praise and Worship, and Praise Dance. Ann's first job was at a community care center for the elderly. She also worked at Huntly Brothers, Florida Furniture and most recently, The ARC (Association for Retarded Citizens), as a supported living coach for 28 years until retirement. Ann enjoyed spending time with family, vacationing, extreme couponing, shopping at The Pioneer Woman and Bath and Body Works, and collecting butterfly-themed keepsakes.
Ann was preceded in eternal rest by her aunts and uncles, Shirley Mae Allen, Cora Mae Otto, Gus Maxwell Sr., Johnnie Lee Maxwell, Odell Maxwell, Floyd Maxwell, Jasper Smith, Sr., Jule Smith, Jr., Wilbert and Willard Smith (twin brothers), Mildred Smith, Josephine Smith; mother-in-law, Alma Irene Hamilton.
She leaves to cherish her memories: devoted husband, Robert Williams; son, Antonio Djuan (Venisha) Hill; daughter, Antrice D. Williams; 3 grandchildren, Antorrien Smart, A'Secret Andrews, Gabriel Hill; parents, Willie Mae Roberts and Randolph (Marguerite) Hill; 5 brothers, Gene Hatcher, Phillip (Sierra) Hill, Randy Hagans, Michael Hill, Randy Hill; 3 sisters, Baronica Roberts, Desiree Hill, Antoinette (Frank) Wilson; "like a son," Torrey Smart; "like a brother," Eric Hawkins; brother-in-law, Howard (Katie) Hamilton; sister-in-law, Kathy Hamilton; godson, Jade Styles, Palatka; goddaughter, Breonna Walker, Palatka; aunts and uncles, Lestine Kirkland, DeLand; Janice Denise (Alex) Chance, Jacksonville; Katrenda Yvette (James) Oxendine, Palatka; Harest (Betty) Hill, Norfolk, VA; Willie "Jack" Lee Hill, Hampton, VA; John "Peanut" Smith, Roanoke, VA; special cousin, Kizziy Jackson; godmother, Mary Brown, Palatka; godbrother, Willie Jackson, Jr.; godsister, La'Tonya Fuqua; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation: 5-7 p.m., Friday, August 23 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 800 Madison St, Palatka. Celebration of Life: 3 p.m., Saturday, August 24 at Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church, 4909 St. Johns Ave, Palatka, Rev. Karl N. Flagg, Pastor. Rev. Tommy J. Rodgers is the eulogist. Interment: Oak Hill East Cemetery.
