Angela Dorlene Revell Davis was born on Monday, May 2, 1960, in Springfield Gardens, NY to Mr. James and Theodosia (Harris) Revell. In 1970, the family relocated to Palatka, FL. Angela was educated in the Putnam County School District and was a 1978 graduate of Palatka High School. She continued her educational pursuits and earned a Bachelor's Degree from Saint Leo University and a Master of Information Systems Degree from University of Phoenix. Angela worked as a longtime Computer Education Professor at St Johns River State College.

Angela inspired many of her students to succeed in their educational endeavors by encouraging them to believe in themselves. She possessed a unique way of brightening the atmosphere with her smile and laughter. Angela strongly believed that her other job was matchmaking. This may be just another part of her comedic personality. Angela was known for her quiet spirit like her mother, Theodosia. She possessed a heart and desire to give or help anyone in need. Some of Angela's happiest days were those shared with her husband, Bruce.

In addition to her parents, Angela was preceded in eternal rest by her brother, Adam Revell.

Angela Dorlene Davis entered the sunset of life on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent's Medical Center, Jacksonville. Angela Davis, a believer in Christ will be greatly missed by her beloved husband Bruce, family, numerous friends and coworkers.

Angela leaves behind to cherish her memories: husband, Dr. Bruce Davis; two sons, Alfred Harris, III, and Alton Bruce Davis; granddaughters, Toriyanna Harris, Elyissa Harris, Alayah Davis, Danijah Scott, Lamiah Farr; grandsons, Alton Davis, Maison Matthews; siblings, Kevin (Edith) Revell, Kenneth Revell, James (Gwenneth) Revell, Juliet Crocker, Jennifer Revell, Milton (Sharon) Revell, Robert (Trish) Murff, mother-in-law, Willie-Mae Crawford, brothers-in-law, Todd (Beverly) Crawford, Eric Robinson, Corey (Tiawonna) Robinson; sister-in-law, Valarie (Donald) Bennett; aunts, Thelma Hughes, Pamela Damon; uncles, Apostle Robert Revelle, Raleigh Revell; nieces and nephews, Kendra Revell, Fylesha Christie, Necolle Williams, Chris Revell, Roy Polite, Terry Powell, Jr., Paris Revell, and Milton Revell, II; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, November 28 at Palatka Church of God by Faith, 1511 Washington Street. Angela's Homegoing Celebration will be 11 a.m., Saturday, November 29 at Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church, 4909 St. Johns Avenue, Palatka. Pastor Akin Ross, Palatka Church of God by Faith, presiding. Elder Phillip Thomas, Superintendent Emeritus, is the eulogist. Interment will follow in Oak Hill West Cemetery.
