Amos Baber, Sr., 64, of Palm Coast (native of Seville), entered the sunset of life on Monday, August 2, 2021 at his residence. A native of Seville, he was the son of Arthur Baber, Sr., and Georgia Bell Thomas Baber, born on Tuesday, October 30, 1956.  He was educated in the Volusia County School District.  Over the years, he worked as a crewman for Fern Trust in Seville.   He subsequently changed his career of choice and became employed as a Floor Technician at the Garden Health and Rehab Center and V. A. Outpatient Clinic in Daytona Beach, for 25 years.  He truly loved his family and enjoyed collecting antique cars.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in eternal rest by his brother, Arthur Baber, Jr; sisters, Ida Rogers, Irene Williams, Rosa Lee Jenkins, Adel Oxendine, and Adel Cobb.

He leaves to cherish his memories: children, Cortrenia Caldwell (Chad) Smith, Amos Baber, Jr.,  Amarilis  Baber; sisters , Hattie Mae Baber, Viola Thomas, Georgia Mae (John) Johnson; all of Crescent City; brother, James (Janice) Baber, Jacksonville; grandchildren, Kanisha Dillard, Lanisha Caldwell, Jackquaris Caldwell, Dyquan Gillon, Lafarel Mccullogh, Quintaveous Lewis; great-grandchild , Jamari Caldwell; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Karl N. Flagg, pastor of Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church, is the eulogist.
