Alma White Prince, 91, of San Mateo, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2012. She was born on March 1, 1920 to the late Dennis & Ethel Davis, Sr. in Norfolk, Virginia. Alma was a graduate of Maury High School. She later attended the College of William & Mary, Keys Business College and Rollins College. She was an Administrative Aide to State Senator Stanley C. Walker, an entrepreneur, Real Estate Broker and Volunteer for the American Cancer Society and Chairman for multiple committees. She was a memeber of many organizations including, Poinciana Golf & Racquet Club, Retired Officers Association, Retired Wives Society, National Military Widows Association. Her hobbies included; playing tennis, playing bridge and volunteering. She was preceded in death by her parents;brother, Dennis Davis; and husband Jacob M. Prince. She will be dearly missed by her; sister, Louise Graham of Great Britain and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews and a sorrowing community. She will always be in our thoughts and forever in our hearts. Final interment will be in the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia with her former husband, the late James Curtis White.
