Allanious Feelette Hazel Quintette "AJ" Fuqua, 32, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Friday, June 14, 2019 at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer. The daughter of Alan F. Jackson and Deborah D. Fuqua, she was born on Thursday, September 4, 1986 in Nassawadox, VA. She was affiliated with Holy Temple of God the House the Lord Built, Tree of Life E.P.C., and Holy Word Revival Center. A special celebration honoring her academic journey was held on February 7, 2019 sponsored by Community Hospice, Palatka Housing Authority, and St. Johns River State College. She was presented with a "Visionary Award." "AJ" enjoyed cooking, dancing, taking pictures, and spending time with family and friends. She was a fast food worker and over the years she was employed by Wendy's, Burger King, Taco Bell, and McDonald's.
She was preceded in eternal rest by her daughter, Ericassia Mack, grandmother, Vertie Mae (Willie James) Crosland, grandfather, Samuel Fuqua.
She leaves to cherish her memories: mother, Deborah Fuqua, Palatka; father, Alan (Karen) Jackson, New Church, VA; "like a father," Freddie Watts, Palatka; children, Marvin Passmore, Eric Mack, III, D'Asia Mack, Danny Allen, Al'Lasia Allen, all of Palatka; brothers, Ambrose Knox, Parksley, VA; JohnTavious Taylor, Palatka; sisters, Allanisa Fuqua, Allanetta Jackson, Jallanious Jackson, Aszurnisha Ulysse, Angela Roberts, Fredjamequa Watts, Kamiyah Jackson; step-brother, Keith Rodgers, Accomac, VA; paternal grandmother, Hazel Mae Jackson, Exmore, VA; grandfather, Charles Jackson, Sr., Asbury Park, NJ; best-friend forever, Felicia Claridy, special friends, Eric Mack, Sr., VonShell Offord, and Eric Williams, Sr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation of family and friends will be 5-8 p.m., Friday, June 21, at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity." Celebration of Allanious' Life will be 11 a.m., Saturday, June 22, at Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church, 4909 St. Johns Avenue, Palatka, Rev. Karl N. Flagg, Pastor. Elder Leo Parker, associate minister, New Life Temple Fellowship, East Palatka, is the eulogist. Interment will be in Pattersonville Memorial Cemetery, East Palatka.
