Obituary

Alfritz Dorset Rolle, also known as "Sweet Rolle", 55, of Lithonia, GA (formerly Seville, FL), entered the sunset of life on Monday, February 24, 2020 at Emory Hillandale Medical Center, Lithonia, GA. A native of New York City, he was the son of Alfritz and Ruth (Reese) Rolle, born on Wednesday, October 28, 1964. The family relocated to Seville, FL. Alfritz was educated in the Volusia County School District. He was a 1983 graduate of Taylor High School. He was a member of Ward Chapel A.M.E. Church, Seville and later joined Berean Christian Church, Stone Mountain, GA. He was a subcontractor for Colts Alarm Company for 29 years. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing football and basketball, and talking on the phone. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. In addition to his parents, Alfritz was preceded in eternal rest by his sisters, Vanessa, Cynthia, and Tammie Reese.

He leaves to cherish his memories: daughters, Shenerita Rolle, Satsuma; Kanotra (Ralph) Padgett, Deland; sons, Brandon Gibson, Myles Rolle, Patrick Rolle, Christopher Rolle, all of Atlanta, GA; 2 grandchildren, Levi Denegal, IV, Liberty Denegal, both of Satsuma; brothers, Vender (Marie) Rolle, San Mateo; Richard (Gloria) Reese, Gainesville; Timothy Rogers, Jacksonville; Kirk Rolle, Nassau, Bahamas; sisters, Alfreda Rolle, Seville; Lisa (Marco) Washington Miler, Deltona; Mary Rolle, Kissimmee; goddaughter, Shawnta Pierce, Deland; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, March 6, and Homegoing Celebration will be 11 a.m., Saturday, March 7, at Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church South Campus, 608 Randolph Street, Crescent City, Rev. Karl N. Flagg, Senior Pastor. Rev. Cornelious Scott Golden, Pastor of Ward Chapel A.M.E. Church, Seville, is the eulogist. Interment: St. Johns Cemetery, Seville.
