Alexander Lee Leon Rutledge, 18, of Jacksonville, entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 in Jacksonville. The son of Shantarious Rutledge, Alex was born on March 23, 2008 in Jacksonville. Alexander was a 2026 Ed White High School Florida Youth Challenge Academy graduate. He was of the Christian faith and attended Elevate Life Church. He was employed as a barber at Staxk Kuttem & Triple K’s Barbershop. Alexander enjoyed cutting hair, playing football and basketball, rapping, and entertaining.

Alexander was preceded in eternal rest by his great-grandparents, Elder William & Mother Louise Rutledge and uncle, Quanteveois Leonard Hakeem Taylor.

Visitation of family & friends will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, July 24 at Sarah L. Carter Funeral Home - Southside Chapel, 2212 Emerson Street, Jacksonville. Celebration of Alexander's Life will be 2 p.m., Saturday, July 25 at Trinity Oakleaf, 710 Oakleaf Plantation Parkway, Orange Park, Florida. Superintendent Antonio V. Ruth, Pastor of Zion Temple Church of God in Christ, officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery, Orange Park.
