Obituary

Agnes Elizabeth Green Walker, the daughter of Joseph "Doc" and Corinne Wilder Green, was born on Thursday, July 11, 1940, in Crescent City, Florida. She was educated in the Putnam County School District and was a 1957 graduate of Central Academy. In 1958, she was united in holy matrimony to Dance "Dan" Walker. She was a faithful and devoted member of Jethro First Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of Reverend Adrian Washington. For many years, she passionately served as a dedicated trustee, assisted the finance team and harmoniously sang in the choir. In addition, she was an enthusiastic and talented pianist. Her favorite pastime was spending time with family (she knew everyone's age and birthday), watching game shows specifically, "Wheel of Fortune" and indulging in delightful, leisure shopping both in stores and online. She loved to create innovative, fashionable ideas and elegant, unique styles. She was a timeless, influential fashion icon. They called her "Fox". For a short period of time, Agnes worked as a substitute English teacher at Middleton High School in Crescent City. She later was employed with Florida Transformer, Inc., before working at Sparton Electronics, in Deleon Springs, Florida where she dedicated 54 years of service until her passing. On a serene Thursday, January 16, 2025, she peacefully transitioned from this earthly life at HCA Orange Park Hospital, Orange Park, Florida.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in eternal rest by her husband, Dance "Dan" Walker; sisters, Marjorie L. Kelly and Agnes Wilson; grandmother, Maggie S. Wilder; aunts, Edna and Annie Wilder, Hallie Cook and Emmie Wright; uncle, William Wilder.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: sons, Gerald Walker, Crescent City; Michael Walker, Tampa; daughters, Teryl (Myron) Davis, Patti Walker, both of Orlando; Kellee Brooks, Crescent City; grandchildren, Sydra (Freddie) Desaussure, Deland; Nicholas Williams, Orange City; Shayla Gaines, Orlando; Deondria Williams,Orange City; Teryl (Michael) Stephens, Tampa; Sheryl (James) Giles, Palm Coast; Leon Williams, Jr., Deland; De'Erika Watson, Sun City; Trista (Nay) Hill, Deland; Michael Walker, Jr., Tampa; Mia Davis, Orange City; Briauna Walker, Houston, TX; Kaiden Brooks, Braylen Scott, both of Crescent City; 26 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Willie M.
