Acy Hines, 103, of East Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Thursday, March 13th in Palatka Health Care Center. He was born December 27, 1904 in Cairo, Georgia to Sam Lina (Ellis) Hines II. He expanded his work experience being formerly employed by Browning Lumber Co., Wilson Cypress Co., Camerson Lumber Co. as a millworker. He united in holy matrimony to Rendie Pickett on March 23, 1982. Acys hobbies were: He is preceded in eternal by his parents, children; Ethel Bryant, Roscoe D. Hines. To cherish his memories: wife; children; Edward D. Hines, Acy Hines Jr. Brother: George Hines; Grandchildren: Patricia, Vivian, Harold Jr., Kenneh, Venessa, Michele, Desiree, Toni, Eric, Linda, Acy III, William, Wanda, Anthony, 26 Great Grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation of Family & Friends will be Friday, March 21st from 5-8PM at the Chapel of Serenity.
